The port of Leghorn

- PASSENGER TRAFFIC (cruise ships / ferries).
The port of Leghorn is being properly equipped (new docks, new buildings, etc..) to increase this type of traffic in consideration of the strong demand, paricularly from Nrthern Euprope (Great Britain).

A considerable increase in this traffic is already forecast for 2000, both in the number of vessels and in the number of passengers.

The port of Leghorn is of fondamental importance in the cruise sector in that it is the doorway to Tuscany, its art, its history and its cities.

Ferry & Cruise traffic:
Ferry traffic is managed by "Porto di Livorno 2000 Srl" .
This traffic is with: Sardinia (Golfo Aranci and Olbia), Corsica (Bastia), Capraia Island, Tunisi and Barcellona.

These are the ferry lines: Corsica and Sardinia Feries, Moby Lines, Medmar and Toremar.

Destination: Barcellona (Grimaldi Ferries), Bastia (Corsica Ferries), Bastia (Moby Lines), Golfo Aranci (Sardinia Ferries), Olbia (Moby Lines).
